Working principle of H-series right angle gearboxes

The H series right angle gearbox achieves precise conversion of power steering, speed, and torque through gear meshing. The complete workflow is divided into 5 stages:
1. Power input link: The horizontal rotational power of the prime mover (motor, diesel engine) is transmitted to the horizontal input shaft of the gearbox through a coupling, driving the active spiral bevel gear to rotate synchronously.
2. Right angle steering transmission link: The horizontally arranged active bevel gear meshes vertically with the vertically arranged driven bevel gear at a 90 ° axis, directly converting horizontal rotational motion into vertical rotational motion to achieve 90 ° power steering.
3. Speed and torque conversion link: By pairing gears with different numbers of teeth, speed reduction and torque increase or speed increase adjustment can be achieved. When the number of teeth on the driving gear is less than that on the driven gear, the output speed decreases and the torque synchronously increases; On the contrary, the acceleration effect is achieved, with a wide range of transmission ratios covering 1:1~1:2 acceleration and 4:1~11:10 deceleration.
4. Power output link: After steering and speed adjustment, the power is transmitted to the input shaft of the vertical pump through the vertical output shaft, directly driving the impeller of the pump body to rotate and complete the water intake/medium delivery function of the pump.
5. Support and lubrication cycle: All shaft systems are supported by high-precision bearing positioning. During operation, lubricating oil circulates between the gear and bearing meshing surfaces, taking away frictional heat, reducing component wear, and ensuring stable and efficient transmission process. The overall transmission efficiency can reach 96% to 98%.
